We have been here for you since 1825. Česká spořitelna is the largest domestic bank. It was founded in 1825 and became the first savings institution in the territory of today's Czech Republic. It provides its services to more than 5 million clients: these include citizens, small and medium-sized businesses, municipalities and cities. It prides itself on the accessibility of its services – it has the widest network of branches and ATMs in the country. The bank also finances large corporations and provides financial markets services. Česká spořitelna has been a member of the Erste Group since 2000. Under this brand it serves creditworthy and corporate clients. It also promotes financial literacy. The bank is working on educational programmes for children under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance. Česká spořitelna is also a strong player in the field of innovation: it was the first on the domestic market to offer its clients contactless payment cards on a large scale and at the same time created a network for their use.
